Children of God make sure you are speaking in agreement with the Word of God when you are praying. Pray in agreement with the Word of God for breakthrough in certain areas of your life, because it is your spiritual right to lay hold of the promises of God for your specific needs. You must not be moved by what you see, you must choose to keep believing and keep trusting God - He is faithful! No matter what it looks like, the power of God is bringing a supernatural change into your season.
Mark 11:22-26
22. So Jesus answered and said to them, "Have faith in God.
23. For assuredly, I say to you, whoever says to this mountain, 'Be removed and be cast into the sea,' and does not doubt in his heart, but believes that those things he says will be done, he will have whatever he says.
24. Therefore I say to you, whatever things you ask when you pray, believe that you receive them, and you will have them.
25. "And whenever you stand praying, if you have anything against anyone, forgive him, that your Father in heaven may also forgive you your trespasses.
26. But if you do not forgive, neither will your Father in heaven forgive your trespasses." NKJV
Although it may not look like it, you are closer than you think to possessing your victory. God is saying to His people-you have a right to make faith demands on the promises of God; it’s your rightful inheritance to experience victory every day of your life. The bible clearly states, that you will have the things that you say out of your mouth and believe in your heart, these are the things that you will have and possess in your life. We make the transfer of those spiritual things into the physical, touchable, realm by the words of our mouth. It’s your right to walk in God’s best for your life, but you must demonstrate thefaith in order to possess it now.
Prov 18:21
21. The tongue can bring death or life; those who love to talk will reap the consequences. NLT
There is a story in the bible that talks about a woman and her daughter and Jesus tells of her faith.
Mark 7:25-30
25. Right away a woman who had heard about him came and fell at his feet. Her little girl was possessed by an evil spirit,
26. and she begged him to cast out the demon from her daughter. Since she was a Gentile, born in Syrian Phoenicia,
27. Jesus told her, "First I should feed the children—my own family, the Jews. It isn't right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs."
28. She replied, "That's true, Lord, but even the dogs under the table are allowed to eat the scraps from the children's plates."
29. "Good answer!" he said. "Now go home, for the demon has left your daughter."
30. And when she arrived home, she found her little girl lying quietly in bed, and the demon was gone. NLT
Matt 15:21-28
21. Then Jesus left Galilee and went north to the region of Tyre and Sidon.
22. A Gentile woman who lived there came to him, pleading, "Have mercy on me, O Lord, Son of David! For my daughter is possessed by a demon that torments her severely."
23. But Jesus gave her no reply, not even a word. Then his disciples urged him to send her away. "Tell her to go away," they said. "She is bothering us with all her begging."
24. Then Jesus said to the woman, "I was sent only to help God's lost sheep—the people of Israel."
25. But she came and worshiped him, pleading again, "Lord, help me!"
26. Jesus responded, "It isn't right to take food from the children and throw it to the dogs."
27. She replied, "That's true, Lord, but even dogs are allowed to eat the scraps that fall beneath their master's table."
28. "Dear woman," Jesus said to her, "your faith is great. Your request is granted." And her daughter was instantly healed. NLT
Look at this woman, she would not be denied what she wanted from Jesus, so she stood boldly before Him until He blessed her by healing her daughter, she believed that He could and by faith it was hers for the asking. Even in the face of the disciples wanting to send her away Jesus tells her He had been sent for the Jews. Well this woman knew she didn’t fit into that family because she was a (Syrophoenician – meaning she was from Africa by way of Phenicia - Syria) after hearing Jesus she did not walk away, she still would not give up. Jesus even complimented her on her faith and said unto her, “You have great faith.” Jesus said: “I have not seen so great of faith,” because she was not willing to give up. People of God look at what Jesus said, she was asking for the children’s bread. Yours and mine our rightful inheritance, do you see it. Jesus was saying the blessings and healings belong to the Children of God. The children have a right to the promises of God. I would like to ask this question right now while you are reading this post. Are you a Child of God with faith to receive Jesus as your Lord? Have you made Jesus your Lord with your mouth, or did you use your mouth for something else?
Rom 10:10
10. For it is by believing in your heart that you are made right with God, and it is by confessing with your mouth that you are saved. NLT
In Romans 10:10 the word confession does not mean to go and tell one’s sin to another, or talk about others sins. The Greek word for confession here is homologous - meaning to stay in agreement with or to say the same thing as the Word of God is saying with your heart.
Now if you believe in your heart then say this out of your mouth: “I am in agreement with what God’s word says about my situation.” But if the mouth is not in line with the Word of God, it is not faith. Now if Jesus is your Lord therefore you are a Child of God and an heir to the promises of faith.
Gal 3:26-29
26. For you are all children of God through faith in Christ Jesus.
27. And all who have been united with Christ in baptism have put on the character of Christ, like putting on new clothes.
28. There is no longer Jew or Gentile, slave or free, male and female. For you are all one in Christ Jesus.
29. And now that you belong to Christ, you are the true children of Abraham. You are his heirs, and God's promise to Abraham belongs to you. NLT
Ps 103:3
3 He forgives all my sins and heals all my diseases. NLT
People of God, it’s time to change your attitude when you approach God knowing that He will do that which He rightfully told us to ask for. We must be like the woman in the bible story even if you hear it’s not yours, have faith.
We must be bold and continue to stand in faith for our breakthrough and our needs to be met. I believe you are only a faith step away from laying hold to what is rightfully yours. I know by the Spirit of God that it’s time to rise up in your most Holy faith and release the Word of God from your mouth.
Mark 11:24
24. I tell you, you can pray for anything, and if you believe that you've received it, it will be yours. NLT
