Confessions: Affirm with Confidence in the Word The Lord is the Strength of My Life

1.        The Lord is the strength of my mind, so today I think sound, healthy thoughts. I think on those things that are true, honest, just, pure, lovely and of good report. A strong mind is a positive mind, the mind of Christ.

1 Cor 2:16

16. For, "Who can know the Lord's thoughts? Who knows enough to teach him?"  But we understand these things, for we have the mind of Christ. NLT

2.        The Lord is the strength of my ears, so I hear well today and forever, He that hath an ear, let him hear what the spirit saith.

Rev 3:22

22. He that hath an ear, let him hear what the Spirit saith unto the churches. KJV

Most important, with my renewed, sound, strong mind, I hear what the spirit says to me.

3.        The Lord is the strength of my eyes, so I have good vision for today. I see others through the eyes of love, kindness and goodwill.

4.        The Lord is the strength of my mouth, so I speak those words that edify ministering grace to those who hear me. I refrain from speaking words that are negative, destructive, corrupt, critical, harsh or unkind.

Isa 50:4-5

4. The Sovereign Lord has given me his words of wisdom, so that I know how to comfort the weary. Morning by morning he wakens me and opens my understanding to his will.

5. The Sovereign Lord has spoken to me, and I have listened. I have not rebelled or turned away. NLT

5.        The Lord is the strength of my heart, so I have a good, sound heartbeat for today. My prayer Lord is for you to be the strength of my physical heart as long as I serve you on this earth indeed, seventy years, and by reason of strength, eighty years or more. My heart will do your good work for this day.

Ps 90:10

10. Seventy years are given to us! Some even live to eighty. But even the best years are

filled with pain and trouble; soon they disappear, and we fly away. NLT

6.        The Lord is the strength of my hands; so that whatever my hands find to do they do it with all their might.

Eccl 9:10

10. Whatever you do, do well. For when you go to the grave, there will be no work or planning or knowledge or wisdom. NLT

7.        The Lord is the strength of every organ, tissue, bone, fiber nerve and cell in my body. The Lord is the strength of my life from the top of my head to the soles of my feet. When my feet become tired sore and ache the Lord renews my feet by the invigoration of His strength.

8.        The Lord is the strength of my life, my whole life, spirit, soul and body. He infuses strength into the hidden man of the heart.
